| There's no such thing as unlimited BW and storage space from the hosts in New Zealand so when I searched for an international host I was amazed that everyone has been getting these for years!
With so much choice I read some reviews and settled on Green Geeks because their reseller pricing is so competitive and their trial was free. After 30 days I was hooked and I moved all my hosting across to them straight away.
Since then I've added more websites and domains and had my share of newbie issues, their support is fast and extremely helpful even when I don't quite know what I've done wrong. There's also ClientExec which was free with my account which is brilliant!
Even when they have issues they are quick to respond and everything comes back online really quickly which is all I ask for!

| So far, I have had a very good experience with GreenGeeks. The price may not be the cheapest out there, but it seems cheaper websites also offer a lot less. I was sharing with someone that it is like the airlines. Some of the cheaper deals have all these add on costs, like paying for extra bags when you check in. GreenGeeks offers a lot for their prices.
I have also been happy with the tech support from them.
The only part I find a little less intuitive is the email. The email and mailing lists are separate and a bit confusing. Of course, that's not much different than other hosts, and may not even be used much these days as people are using Gmail and other systems to handle email and newsletters.
I have recommended this site to others and am in the process of shifting someone over to them now. |

| I have been with GreenGeeks for a couple of years now and I must say that though the services and features may seem like what all the others offer, the BIG difference is when it comes to Customer and Technical Service.
Issues, which are few and far between, are immediately resolved in a friendly and professional manner. Personally I know I have probably testing these guys' patience more than the average customer. I have yet to get an unfriendly or out-of-place response. The greatest thing is that I have NEVER had to get on the phone with them. Their ticket system is incomparable and extremely fast and efficient.
Sorry for sounding like an advertisement, but GreenGeeks has me for life with the level of professionalism they show! |

Also, to install things on my domains, they use CPanel and Softaculous, and it all makes things sooooooooo much easier.

| Well after a bad run with IXwebhosting, kvchosting and webhostinghub, I think I have finally found a place where I can have piece of mind.
If you are thinking about moving your websites, be sure to do a cPanel FULL Backup. This will save all sites, all email, and all databases to a zip file. Send that file to your new account at greengeeks and they will unzip it and in about 5 minutes your entire site is up and running. This is the first time I have tried this trick and let me tell you it is slick, and saved me at least a day maybe two days of work.

My latest issue came about when I was trying to correct an editor problem. I wound up loosing my site somehow. | Its a great service, is the first thing that comes to mind. There are very few companies that sell in bulk and allow managing and reselling with such ease.
The servers are great and I rarely have issues with downtime. I have seen some instances while I was working on some website but the tech team fixed the issue in minutes. Nothing critical.
The support's great too. There is barely any waiting time in the chat support and someone's always available 24x7.
I really liked the fact that the servers are running off of green renewable energy. Its good to see companies working towards such goals and I support it.

Along the way, we've had challenges of various sorts come up, and every time, your tech support team has come through for me. I'm the worst nightmare of tech support people -- the self-taught, DIY'er with moments of insight and large gaping holes in my understanding of how this works, and your team has always managed to figure out what I need to know to help me find a solution.
Over the last week or so I transferred hosting of several sites from another hosting company to my GreenGeeks account. Working with tech support from their side and your side there is NO comparison. Your tech support crew is in a completely different league -- I've never heard any of them say, "I can't help you."
Today I had three different people help me get a site back up live after being hacked with malware, in record time.
Am really pleased. I know that issues do pop up from time to time (as this seems to be the way of the web!), but I have had such a clear reminder that support doesn't get better than this.

People, especialy consultants think of referring GoDaddy or 1to1 for hosting, There nut's you guys are much better. More then once I've had to wait days for Godaddy to fix a simple issue for a client. Sure they answered the phone in 3 rings but who cares when it takes 10 people and days to answer a question and even more to fix things.
You should email your existing clients asking them to post good reviews for you at some of the hosting provider revew sites. People need to know about Green Geeks!

| Greengeeks has offered exclusively impeccable customer service. I don't think I've ever encountered this good customer service in the digital world. Also, apart from being quick as lightning, efficient and helpful, I always get a "Thanks and have a great day" at the end of the email, which makes me happy.
The cPanel inteface is very coherent and nice to look at.
Switching from my old host was relatively easy, Greengeeks did most of the work.
Prices are great, I'm totally willing to pay what they're asking. I mean, first off, you are really putting zero CO2 load on the environment, which was why I changed hosts in the first place, second, their service is awesome and the price deal is great.
I actually ended up paying pretty much the same as I did my old host, with the first year actually costing way less, as there was a special price offer up at the time.
You can't go wrong with Greengeeks. I know this review sounds cheesy, but I really had that good an experience with them. |

I've been with the hosting service for 6 weeks now and have needed to use support 5 times for some very strange problems. They responded quickly and were able to get a few tough problem resolved within hours.
My only support suggestion is that VPS tickets should go directly to Tier 2 support and bypass Tier 1. |

| Hi, I am a web designer located in Melbourne I also have 3 reseller hosting accounts, one is in the US is very well known 1 in Canberra (AUS) 1 in Sydney (AUS) and I have tried so many hosting companies in the past and I had to give up in the end, because of their lack of customer service, ticket response time,the website was always down, and not reliable.
I have only been with GreenGeeks for a month. I have never had any complaints about the site being down and I have to tell you they respond fast,which I never got in the past. I am so happy with what they are offering. I know about design but I don't really know about programming but since I have been with them I have less worries, so at this point I give GG 5 stars from me. |

I was being hosted with GoDaddy and while they say they "support" PHP, they don't "support" PHP. I needed PHP email enabled.. Don't ask they won't do it.
The administration portion of GoDaddy's site is very hard (at least for me) to get things done quickly. Green Geeks was a snap and the ability to chat with a service tech that knows what he is talking about is a bonus!

If you are considering using GreenGeeks for your hosting needs let me share my experience with you. Almost two years ago I signed up for a Reseller Account with GreenGeeks. I have a small web marketing business and decided there was money to be made by offering hosting services to my clients. Prior to activating an account with GreenGeeks my total hosting experience and knowledge level were both a big fat zero. Thankfully GreenGeeks made everything very simple for me without stating the obvious which was I really didn't know what I was doing.
Needless to say, timely and friendly technical support was a must and GreenGeeks did not disappoint. Their customer support is the best customer support I have ever experienced with any company. 24/7 I get immediate response to issues and resolution of any problems. Most of the time my issues stem from simple lack of knowledge. In this business it seems there is always a huge learning curve and I often have to choose what I'm gonna read up on today. The websites I host through GreenGeeks Reseller program keep me very busy. Often I just don't have time to learn the ins & outs of hosting. Having GreenGeeks support has been like having a very knowledgeable employee on staff, 24/7 email or phone they are ready assist. The issue is usually my own fault and usually they just go ahead and fix it for me. When they realize I lack the knowledge to address a simple issue on my own they go ahead and fix the issue, explain what they did, and send me a related link or two to help me get up to speed.
Recently a few of my sites got hacked, I told support I had "no clue" on how to fix the hacks. Within minutes the GreenGeeks support team responded by fixing the hacks and sending me a link to internet security tips for the software I use (Joomla).
GreenGeeks makes offering hosting solutions to my clients very easy and quite affordable for me. I highly recommend GreenGeeks.

| I have a reseller acct with a different host for years. I recently learned drupal and wanted to use it on a site. My other host offered the download but the load time was so slow I knew customers would not wait so I went online to find options. I noticed GreenGeeks was top rated so I gave it a try. While setting up the site I had an error with memory I knew that the php.ini file needed to be changed but I was having trouble finding the file so at 9:30 PM on a Saturday night I clicked the chat form and talked to George. George fixed that error and as sometimes happens I had a 2nd error message. He then fixed that error. I was/am amazed this is the best service I have had with a web host in more then 10 years. Oh and my issue with the website speed was also fixed when I moved to GreenGeeks. I guess I need to start moving all of my sites. Thank you George and GreenGeeks! |

| I have tried hosting with many companies. You name it, i've tried it. None of them came close to GreenGeeks. Their personal touch in customer service is the key difference. Their response are fast and they do not shut you out when you have difficulties. They will provide you all the necessary assistance and sometimes beyond the call of duty. The only thing short of that perfect score is not able to backup my sites from my cpanel. (I am a reseller btw). |

| I am what you would call "Not a computer guy" so when I first tried to build my website I found most things very difficult and that's when I first used Green Geeks "Live Chat" feature which allows me to IM a customer service rep and every time I kept getting "George" and even with my very stupid probably childish questions he was nothing but professional and could not have been a nicer or more helpful guy over the 5 to 10 times I talked to him. He is what customer service people should strive to be, I almost cancelled by account with you guys but because of your fast and reliable customer service and mostly because of your outstanding employee George, Green Geeks will be the only hosting site I ever use. So I don't know if my review alone will get him a raise or a promotion but compared to the other customer service reps I have spoken to he is far and away the best of the bunch so thank you for all your help George. |

George was quick and professional in his attempt to help me. Unfortunately, George had to escalate my case, and asked me to send an email to tech support. I sent the email and swiftly received a response from George. Within minutes I received another message from Oleg B., the escalation was now in full swing. Oleg remedied my problem in a short time and I am now working on my new WP site.

The two technical problems I had were dealt with swiftly, and the tech guys were patient and polite with me. I've never had a domain before, and the guys never treated me like they were superior to me and never became impatient with me, which as we all know some tech guys are prone to do. My website is always up, and it loads fast. Most importantly, I like that they are a green company. | I have only been a client for 48 hours, and moving websites and domains is always complicated -if you don´t master certain level of geekyness. The GG team helped all along, were infinitely patient with my questions and requests.
I run a small non profit organisation, and we dont have a technical expert to help us, which is why I valued the support I got from the GG team. They deserve extra credits for patience -plus they worked through Easter weekend, with responses to my questions coming back within the hour.
Plus, energy is 100% renewable -a big plus for me. Additionally, there is no space limit...so it is a perfect deal -as my site will likely have a big photo library.

| I am a small level website designer and have a reseller account with www.greengeeks.com, I am hosting only the websites that I design for my clients. I have another account with hostgator.com, according to my experience I like greengeeks more, with their good support and reseller plan.
I had a problem with ip address that share my domains is blacklisted by www.apews.org due to some spammer's act. I think now greengeeks gives opportunity for reseller to buy dedicated IP for the domains hosted under reseller account and assigned to more than one domains. This is realy neccessary otherwise, innocent users force to suffer the acts of spammers.

| I have only been using GreenGeeks basic web hosting service for a little over a month and I must say I am completely impressed. The pricing is on par with the other offerings from across the web - so I wasn't won-over on pricing. But...
The customer support and technical support is phenomenal! The techs here are probably getting tired of hearing my requests to install this, disable that, re-enable this again. | A few weeks ago I would have written an extremely negative review of GreenGeeks. But they pulled through masterfully and I can recommend them highly.
There was a sudden rpoblem with my email. It simply stopped working. After a couple of sessions with the tech department I was extremely frustrated and told them so in no uncertain terms.
The customer service department replied almost immediately. Within a couple of hours everything was fixed.
It was a most unusual circumstance that had caused the problem, hence the earlier frustration. But they found it and
fixed it pronto.

| I have used several hosting companies over the past 10 years or so and Green Geeks is by far the best. I have never written a review before but I had such a great experience with GreenGeeks I wanted to pass it on.
I have a web based application that ran great on my old shared host for years but we outgrew their limits and I had to move without much notice. Anyone who has looked for hosting knows there are a lot out there and it can sometimes be hard to choose. (Search over. Get GreenGeeks.) I thought that I would just go with a big well known hosting company assuming they would be fine since I didn't have a lot of time to research. I went with Network Solutions - big mistake. My time with NS was a month long nightmare and I should write a book about all the problems I had after I get out of therapy. Just a sample of Network Solutions issues: average 20 minute hold time for tech support, horrible website response time, sporadic internal server errors, in the effort to speed up response time - on two occasions - Network Solutions tech support instructed me to do something that brought down my entire site which is not the best for business. When they told me it was as good as it was going to get I decided to switch to their VPS. However, when my FTP wasn't working after 24 hours and it had to be kicked up to engineering, I decided to find another host.
I am so happy I found GreenGeeks. I was setup and ready to start moving my code and databases in less time than I typically spent on hold with NS. This is my first time using VPS so I needed a little hand-holding. Their tech support was fantastic. I had my site moved and back up and running great in less than 24 hours with their knowledgeable and quick support where I needed it.
I did hear back from Network Solutions about the ftp problem today - 2 days later - it was an email that said I would have to pay extra for any support with VPS.
Thanks, but no thanks NS. I'm a GreenGeeks customer now and I couldn't be happier. |

| I had issues with my FTP connections (I have a number of different users) and my email servers today, and I just wanted to mention that the final person I spoke with, Mark Lahn, provided truly exceptional service. He was professional, patient, knowledgeable, and wound up resolving my problem, which was a big relief since my clients depend on FTP to send us work and I even had a new client who was supposed to start today and had been unable to send files because of these issues. | GreenGeeks is amazing! i love everything about them! The support is amazing, everytime i need something i ask and it gets resolved right away, i have not had any downtime at all!
The only thing i wasnt to happy about is when i found out you could not make backups of the reseller accounts that you have made which is why i made the features a 4.
Other than that its amazing! I would love to see GreenGeeks offer Alpha and Master Reseller as i really want that! but i dont want to go to any other company.
And no i dont work for greengeeks or anything like that i am a real happy customer! |
